Well, hello there! It is always an exciting day when I have new things to share with you! Today I have my NEW Happy Grams 4 collection of stamps and dies to tell you about. I have teased a few of these for a few weeks, namely my most favorite die set ever- Bitty Posies. Today I can finally show you the rest of the collection. And good news, the collection is in stocky and shipping now!
I will start first with the dies. I have two sets that are die only sets…
First up is my new most favorite die set so far, Bitty Posies! This collection of posies are wee tiny! The outer edge of the die frame on the flowers is about the size of a nickel, which means the flowers are a tad bit smaller. They are the perfect size for all types of paper and appliqué projects. If you are a fan of the dies in the Posie Parts set, you are going to love the way Bitty Posies and Posie Parts layer together!
You may know this already, but I LOVE hearts. I think every project needs a heart incorporated in it somewhere. My favorite heart shape is a long heart that is kind of skinny. A while back I found the perfect vintage heart cookie cutter and thought it would be the perfect heart die shape. And so now it is, in a set of three sizes.
Up next, four sets of stamp and die combos…
I had so much fun with the layered dies from Happy Grams 3 that I did a few more. This cute sentiment stamp includes dies that cut every layer of the bee. You can stamp it multiple times and then cut and layer the pieces together for a layered dimensional stamped image, OR cut and layer them without stamping for a paper piecing look. Oh, try cutting that cute bee out of felted wool or wool felt- cute, cute, cute!
Since so many of my single stamps are perfect for card fronts, I felt like needed to add a party stamp that could work for invitations. I wanted it to be fun and festive but neutral so that it could work for any theme. I think this fits the bill. You could make it baby, bridal, or grad by simply changing up the colors. It includes three dies for the hat so that you can layer the stamped image or paper piece it.
Sentiments 1 & 2 are two sister sets of phrases designed with cards and gift tags in mind. They are small fit on the front of a card without taking over the focus of the card design. They also fit on my Mini Tag Book and Shortie Tags. I kept the text open so that you could add color to them. I suggest a fine tip marker! 😉
Several stampers told me they needed simple sentiments for the insides of their cards. I think these do the trick! Stamp and die sets can get pricey when there are lots of parts so we split these into two sets to keep them more affordable.
Next up, stamps…
I like to add a border stamp with each collection that you can use on cards to frame some of the other single stamps. I think this one was really fun and versatile.
I love a great background and one about love, how perfect! This background is 4″ x 6″, perfect for a card front!
What would a Happy Grams collection be without a few sweet greetings that are perfect for cards? This collection has 3 that are sure to make a card that would make someone’s day. This greeting, “Wishing you everything happy” works for so many occasions- birthdays, weddings, graduations, or just to brighten someone’s day.
“Well, hello there” started out as a little daily lettering practice that I shared on social media. Several folks asked for it as a stamp and since I aim to please, here it is! I love what a cheery little greeting it is.
Finally, a little fall themed fun. This one started out as just the words, but I found myself thinking how cute it would be to have a couple of acorns to make a little play on words. I added a little plaid to the I for a fun way to add extra fall colors. I am itching to turn this one into a stitchery project. I think it will be super cute in embroidery.
There you have it, Happy Grams 4! I will be back on Monday with project examples for each of these. I hope you will check back for those to see how I used each to create a card.
PS. The entire collection is shipping now and is in stores now or arriving soon. Please be sure to ask your favorite store to carry them for you. If you shop online, I have linked to Scrapbook.com below where they are already in stock and to Spellbinders where they will be instock mid-September (they give the shops a head start).
