Hello friends! The calendar says it is officially fall here in the midwest. I am not quite ready to let posie season go though. Thank goodness I have my posie stamps! I can use them to send posie greetings in warm summer colors all year-long
This card is quick and cute and super fun to send to a dear friend.
The base is a basic cream cardstock card. The second layer brings in a fun punch of color with a golden-yellow gingham (Echo Park). I added stitching around the end of the gingham to add interest and to anchor to the card base.
I used the Simple Line Border stamp to create the focal layer. I used Copic Markers to create a nature scene with grass, clouds, and a sky. I used the grass stamp and matching die to add dimensional grass along the bottom of the scene.
I stamped, die cut, and colored several flowers and pots. I used adhesive foam to pop the flowers up off the surface for extra dimension.
For a sentiment, I wrapped a Shortie Tab around the edge of the card. I added a bright sunny yellow brad at the edge to attach the tab. I added a simple handwritten “hello” for the sentiment.
Isn’t this card so cheerful? I love cards that are so full of happy! I hope this one brightened your day a bit and gave you a bit of inspiration too!
