I am so excited for today to finally come! I’ve been so excited to share something new with you that I hope will make lots of hearts happy! Introducing The Happy Grams Challenge. To help you understand what exactly the challenge is, I need to give you a little back story…
The Happy Grams Challenge back story…
In January I started working my way through the Cultivate What Matters PowerSheets. PowerSheets is a year-long goal setting workbook. It has been amazing! I started this year really hungry for change and clarification. At the end of last year I started a journey of improving my health. It has gone incredibly well (25 lbs lost so far!). The progress made me realize that I needed to refine lots of areas of my life. By working my PowerSheets, I have clarified goals for my business and set several more for my personal life. One thing I discovered was that I wanted to be better at being an encourager to my friends. I set a goal to be more mindful about connecting with friends more often, to encourage them, to lift them up, or to simply let them know how much they mean to me. The more I’ve done this, the happier it has made my soul.
I found myself thinking about how I could use my talents to encourage others to become encouragers.
When I designed stamps I called them “Happy Grams”. When I was in high school, the office would send you notes about good things (like when your boyfriend sent you flowers) on a yellow notepaper that said “Happy Grams” with a smilie face. Getting one of those notes always felt so good. That feeling was what I wanted people to feel when they got a card made with one of my stamps.
Thinking about all this led me to creating The Happy Grams Challenge.
How does The Happy Grams Challenge work?
On the first of each month, I will post a new piece of Happy Grams art that I encourage you to share with a friend. it is a simple way to connect with them and tell them they are on your heart.
- If you are participating in the challenge here on my blog, you can get an email sized copy of the monthly image by right clicking on the image link (download What the Heart Needs pdf) and choosing to save it to your computer. Insert the image into an email and send to a friend.
- If you are participating on Instagram, you can re-gram or re-share the art on your timeline and direct it to a friend by tagging them. If you don’t know how to re-gram, you can simply tag your friend in the comments of this post! You can also send the image from my post via direct message by clicking on the paper airplane symbol below the post on Instagram.
- If you are a Facebook user, go to my Tammy Tutterow Designs page for the image. Click on the share option to post on your own page or profile. Don’t forget to tag your friend so they will know you are thinking of them! You can also tag them in the comments of my post if that is easier for you.
One rule- do not edit my name or web address off the art when sharing it. The art is for personal use only.
I am so excited to see how many people we can lift up and encourage together! If you have joined the challenge, please leave me a comment below and let me know. I’d love to hear how you shared the love!
