Yesterday we celebrated Earth Day. What a great day to stop and think about our world and all the wonders in it. I always like to spend part of the day getting my hands dirty working in my flower gardens. I try to block out all the noise of life when I am in my garden trying to think about nothing more than the incredible detail and magic found in nature. This quote is a favorite and so perfect for my garden time.
I really enjoyed coloring this page. Posie is such a happy little flower! I don’t usually use such bright pinks, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone a little. I really love how it turned out, it is so cheerful!
For marker colorers like me, here is a tip- some of the connectors and loops on the letters are quite thin, too thin for my markers. An easy solution is to color those thin areas with a colored pencil of a similar shade. The areas are small enough that it won’t show if you don’t get an exact match. Sharpen the pencil to a nice fine point and fill in the thin areas. Finish up with marker is the broader areas.

PS. For those of you who wondered what paper and printer I use so that I can color with Copics- I print using a Canon imageCLASS LBP6230dw Wireless Laser Printer. It is a black ink only laser printer that does a great job and can be purchased for under $100. I print on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest #80 Cardstock. (Amazon links)
Thank you, Tammy for another free coloring page. I am dog-sitting again this weekend, but will be doing a download once I am back home and have access to my own printer and specialty card stock. I also appreciate your suggestion about penciling in the more narrow sections of the phrase. Lots of heartache saved there.
Thank you so much for the free coloring page! Coloring is quite a bit of fun. How nice of you to share your talents with us!
Love this!Thanks so much!
